ABOUT US

Hello, and thank you for visiting my Schatz & Krum website. I started S&K in 1985 in my garage in Davis, CA at the age of 20. I began working on BMWs when I was 15 years old. I have always felt that BMWs and Porsches were the finest built cars made so it was easy to be an enthusiast. To this day I still enjoy working on these cars and I have surrounded myself with techs and employees who also share my enthusiasm. Stuart Krum

One of the things I have learned in my 20 years of business is that it is important to be able to do everything in house. This way we are in complete control of quality control. We do not have to rely on other shops for things like alignments, tire balancing, welding, transmission rebuilding, fabrication, programming, etc. If we do an alignment on your car and it still pulls to one side, were are more able to diagnose and fix it than if we had subbed out the alignment. The buck stops here.

I understand that car repairs are very expensive. You pay a lot of money to get your car back to the way it was before it broke. One of my goals has always been to make sure that when you drive away after a repair you feel that you got a fair deal, that you understand the repair or maintenance that you just paid for, and that you would not hesitate to come back to us again.
